The Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations, CTUSAB has criticized the government’s timeline for implementing the proposed national minimum wage planned for Aril 1, 2021
CTUSAB General Secretary, Dennis Depeiza argues that the timeline for implementation is unrealistic and requires greater research and dialogue with stakeholders.
He told an end of year press conference at CTUSAB headquarters that the congress was surprised at the announcement by Prime Minister, Mia Mottley, saying they only learnt of it through the news media.
