Rihanna is back at home for the holidays.

The international music super star and fashion mogul arrived in the island on Wednesday.

Two years ago Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, named Robyn Rihanna Fenty, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary” for Barbados.

The role involves promoting education, tourism and investment.

At the time it was noted that Rihanna has always demonstrated a deep love for the country reflected in her philanthropy, especially in the areas of health and education.
