Better compliance by businesses, says COVID-19 Monitoring Unit Chief

Director of the COVID-19 Monitoring Unit, Ronald Chapman says it has been observing a higher level of compliance with the health and safety protocols from businesses across Barbados.

Meantime, the Cove Nightclub in St. Lawrence Gap was one of those businesses closed by the Unit at the weekend.

General Manager, Justin Sobers admits that they were about 300 patrons in the establishment at the time.

He says they’ve begun to put new measures in place but wants greater clarity from health officials.
