Hundreds of credit union members applying for ease in loan payments

About 2,000 credit union members have applied for an ease in loan payments amidst a series of layoffs as a result of the national shutdown triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.

President of the Barbados Cooperatives and Credit Union League, Hally Haynes, says clients are seeking relief, especially for mortgage payments.

Mr. Haynes says the credit unions will assist members as best they can.
