Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has announced a slew of measures to improve law enforcement in the country, including the establishment of new police stations and a civic cente.
Ms. Mottley made the announcement at the opening ceremony of the new Hastings/Worthing Police Station.
The new station which cost around $14m was funded by the National Insurance Scheme.
Delivering the feature address, the Prime minister underscored the importance of police having the means to fight crime.
She said her Government will also be reviewing all the systems and processes within the Police force.
