A burglary forced the early closure of the Combermere School today.

Classes were suspended at noon after an over-night break-in left the school’s canteen without electricity and unable to prepare meals for the students during their lunch break.

The principal of the Waterford, St. Michael institution, Joseph Maynard explains the decision to curtail classes today.
