Belmont Primary School, one of several schools who were due to commence classes after a delayed start to their new school year due to renovations has been forced to close again after just half a day of classes.

The school, which was placed on the ministry’s list as not being fit enough to begin the school term underwent major renovations however when classes resumed this morning the school was still not ready and classes ended at 1pm.

One of the teachers told Starcom Network News was not yet fit to accommodate students including the presence of portable toilets for use by the youngsters.
