Police officer passes after brief illness

The local police force is mourning the passing of a member of their ranks, Constable 344 Alfred Clarke, known by the nickname Big Show.

Constable Clarke who was 45 years old passed away this morning at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a brief illness.

The 24 year veteran of the force was last attached to the Worthing Police Station.

He was also well known as karaoke enthusiast.
