Prism Financial Processing Services says a telecommunications failure is the reason for a more than hour-long disruption of the Cariffs system on Sunday afternoon which affected ATM and debit card transactions.
Tony Del Castillo General is general manager of Prism which manages the Cariffs Network, Caribbean Integrated Financial Services, on behalf of the commercial banks.
Mr. Del Castillo says the fact that it occurred on a Sunday afternoon limited the number of transactions affected.
