Minister of Tourism Kerry Symmonds says its absolute nonsense to suggest that the state-run Harrisons Cave in St. Thomas has been sold. He was responding to reports on social media.
Speaking in an interview with Starcom Network News, Mr. Symmonds stressed that government’s position on the Cave has repeatedly been stated and has not changed.
Mr. Symmonds also disclosed that attorney at law Anthony Audain is to lead a negotiating team to finalize the deal with a company selected to operate the tourist attraction. The Minister says there will be total transparency.
