The murder toll in Barbados for the year so far reached 19 today with the death of a Christ Church man, stabbed to death by a teenage neighbour during a dispute at Gall Hill.

The victim was stabbed several times and died not far from his home.

Station Sargeant Michael Blackman of the police public relations department briefed the media at the scene.

Gail Jones, a close friend of the family of the deceased was concerned that murders now seem to be a regular occurrence in Barbados, and its hard on the families affected.
