This country’s health authorities are monitoring about ten covid-19 clusters amidst a spike in cases here.

They appeal to the public to adhere to protocols and urge companies to tighten up on their internal procedures.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kenneth George, was speaking to Starcom Network News against the background of about a hundred new cases being recorded over the past week.

Dr. George stressed that the majority of cases aren’t from arrivals to the country, but are locals.

He disclosed that one business place has had multiple outbreaks.

Dr. George repeated his concerns about the break-down of covid-19 protocols among staff within businesses.
