Police are currently on the scene of a fatal shooting at Baxters Road, St. Michael.
Police operations Control Room received a call about 1202 pm today, Saturday 26th April 2022.
The report was there were a number of gunshots in the Baxters Road area near Jordan’s supermarket and that two persons were injured.
Police patrols responded to the scene, and on arrival, investigations confirmed that three persons had received various injuries.
A 25-year-old man was shot and transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private transport. He was pronounced dead on arrival by medical personnel.
Another 39-year-old male received injuries about his body.
A third person, a 22 year old male was reportedly grazed to his left leg.
Police have cordoned the area.
