Road fatality at The Mount, St. George
Barbados has recorded the first road fatality for the year. One person is said to have died in a two-car collision at the Mount, St. George. Police Public Relations Officer, acting Inspector Rodney Inniss updated Starcom Network News at the scene.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has called general elections for January 19th, 2022, and nomination day January 3, 2022. She made the announcement during an address to the nation. The Barbados Labour Party Government won the last general election, soundly defeating the Democratic Labour Party 30-0 on May 24th, 2018.
