Police identify fatal stabbing victims

Police have identified the two bodies which were discovered at Foul Bay Beach, St. Philip on Tuesday, 1st April 2025.

The deceased have been subsequently identified as Javan Devere Burton, 33 years of 3rd Ave, Ocean City, St. Philip and Dejuan Amon Niles, 21 years of Hopewell, Silver Sands, Christ Church.

Police followed up a report made to the Operations Control Room about 11:18 p.m from a male who stated that he was involved in an altercation with another male at Foul Bay Beach.

The police responded to the area, conducted a search and discovered the lifeless bodies of two males with multiple stab wounds.

A Medical Doctor visited the scene, examined the bodies and pronounced death of both persons.
