Youth advocates are gaining key data skills to drive social change through the United Nations Youth Data Literacy Workshop.
The one-day event hosted by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) brought together youth representatives involved in various initiatives to explore how data can be used to shape policies.
UNFPA Liaison Officer for Barbados, De-Jane Gibbons, says the workshop aims to strengthen advocacy efforts across the Caribbean through data.
Meanwhile, Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey, highlighted the importance of effective data in shaping policies and addressing key social issues.
