Preconco workers strike over grievances

Over 40 employees of Preconco Limited walked off the job this morning, citing deep dissatisfaction with conditions of work, including what they claim are inadequate wages and health and safety concerns.

Deputy General Secretary of the Barbados Workers Union, Dwayne Paul, says the striking workers aired their grievances saying they are long-standing issues that have remained unresolved.
