A young man has been detained by police and is undergoing medical evaluation after going beserk at Groves, St. George this (Saturday) afternoon.
Starcom Network News understands that the 22 year old man was driving a vehicle that was involved in a collision with a Barbados Water Authority truck at Sweetvale, St. George around 4:45 pm.
Our information is that the young man who appeared to be under the influence of something, got out of his vehicle and ran to the Groves junction where around 5 pm he went beserk, stripped naked and began throwing rocks at passing vehicles damaging seven of them.
A female motorist was injured and sought private medical attention.
Meanwhile, the young man was subdued and taken into custody by the police.
He was then transported to hospital by ambulance for evaluation.
