A second man has been remanded for the murder of Vere Hoyte that occurred at Checker Hall, St. Lucy on January 9th.
Thirty-three-year-old Richan Robert Waldrond, of Back Ivy St. Michael, is accused of the shooting death, along with Brian Hurley who was previously charged and remanded.
Waldrond has also been charged with unlawfully and recklessly placing Omar Hamilton’s life in danger and the use of a firearm on the same date.
He’s also accused of aggravated burglary at Lazare’s Jewellery in Bridgetown on the 19th of February.
He was not required to plead to these charges when he appeared in the Holetown Court this morning before Magistrate Wayne Clarke and was remanded to prison until April 14th.
The case of Aggravated Burglary was transferred to District ‘A’ Court where he is scheduled to appear on Friday.
