Government Minister Corey Lane has been released without being charged after being questioned by the police.
Starcom Network News has confirmed that Mr. Lane, the Minister of State in the Office of the Attorney General with Responsibility for Crime Prevention, was allowed to leave the District D Police Station after being questioned by officers today.
He had arrived at the station accompanied by a leading criminal attorney at law, Kings Counsel Michael Lashley, and was said by officials to be assisting police with investigations into a matter.
Officials confirmed that this evening, following those interviews, Mr. Lane was released with no charges being laid.
