Jackie Marshall-Clarke, Manager, Communications and Government Relations at the Barbados Light and Power Company Limited has died.
Mrs. Marshall-Clarke passed away today after battling an illness. Her work colleagues were being provided with grief counselling.
Paying tribute, Minister of Energy and Business, Senator Lisa Cummins, described the late Mrs. Marshall Clarke as an incredible human being and the epitome of a true professional.
Senator Cummins added that Mrs. Marshall Clarke’s legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
The Barbados Light and Power’s Managing Director, Roger Blackman, has issued a statement noting the deep sadness into which the Light and Power Family has been plunged.
He stated that Mrs. Marshall-Clarke passed away peacefully at home after an illness.
Mr. Blackman added that Light and Power’s management, staff and her immediate Corporate Communications family are shocked and feeling the pain of her passing.
