A 57-year-old male visitor has died as a result of a suspected drowning yesterday afternoon.
The man was a passenger of the Norwegian Viva Cruise.
His body was pulled from the water at Brownes Beach, Bay Street, around 1:45PM.
He had arrived on the cruise ship about 9:45 a.m yesterday and visited Brownes Beach where he was swimming with turtles and got into difficulty.
Ambulance personnel were summoned and found no signs of life and pronounced death at the scene.
