BCC Student charged for stabbing

A young man has been charged in connection with the stabbing at the Barbados Community College which occurred last Wednesday.

Twenty year old Shelton Dwayne Milton Blackman, of #26 Denton Road, Grazettes, St. Michael has been charged with “serious bodily harm with intent to maim, disfigure or disable” nineteen-year-old Whiniki Morris-Buntin, who was reportedly stabbed several times in his torso..

Blackman appeared in the District “A” Magistrate Court before chief magistrate Ian Weekes this afternoon where he was not required to plead to the indictable charge.

He was remanded to Dodds Prison until March 10th.
