The police report quick progress in solving a recent spate of robberies and also promise to capture the perpetrators of recent gun violence.
Speaking a news conference at police headquarters this morning, acting Commissioner, Erwin Boyce, disclosed that a group of young men had been on a burglary spree involving the use of firearms but said they had been taken into custody.
He noted that there had been 14 robberies recorded in just the first 13 days of the year.
Mr. Boyce warned of scams using the social media page Bajan Market Place where people are being set up to be robbed.
