The Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry reports a boost in business from a strong winter tourism season and expects a further economic lift from the We Gathering that’s taking place this year.
President of the Chamber, James Clarke, tells Starcom Network News, that the high arrival numbers reported by the hotel sector are evident by the significant tourist traffic the commercial sector is seeing.
Mr. Clarke is also optimistic about the economic benefits from the government-organized We Gathering that encourages Barbadians in the diaspora to return home this year.
