Strange lights seen streaking across the sky last night over Barbados have been identified as debris from a Chinese rocket.
President of the Barbados Astronomical Society, David Marshall told Starcom Network News that the lights were caused by the re-entry of a rocket launched by China.
He said the debris was first spotted over Puerto Rico at 11:26pm and appeared over Barbados around 11:30pm.
Mr. Marshall stresses that there was no threat to the public and no reason to panic.
