Two men have been remanded to Dodds Prison, jointly charged with murder in connection with the skeletal remains found in St. John.
Around 2:30 PM today, 25-year-old Samir Jamaldo Wilfred and 61-year-old Ian Kenrick Gittens arrived at the Oistins Magistrates Court and appeared before Joy-Anne Clarke.
They were charged with the murder of Junior “Pippy Yard” Taitt, and Randy “Sharkman” Brathwaite, both of Blades Hill, St Philip, who have been missing since June 2023.
They were not required to plead to the indictable charges and were remanded to reappear on January 13th, 2025.
The police acting on a tip-of found two skulls in a bushy area at Henley On December 5th, and after a thorough investigation, the major crimes unit effected the arrests of Wilfred and Gittens.
