The two men killed in yesterday’s car crash at Bennett’s Road, St. James have been identified.
The deceased are 41 year old Ron Benn of Rose Hill, St Peter and 37 year old Antoine Bishop of Alleynedale, St Lucy.
They were both formally identified by family members.
The vehicle they were traveling in struck a utility pole head on at about 1:50 am.
The two men died at the scene while two other occupants of the vehicle – a 24 year old male and a female in her 20s – were injured and transported to hospital via ambulance.
The female suffered serious head injuries and other injuries about her body, while the male had several cuts and abrasions.
