Fatal Shooting

Barbados has recorded yet another fatal shooting, homicide number 48 for the year so far.

Starcom Network News understands that the police received a call sometime after midday of a shooting at Belfield Black Rock, St. Michael.

It was subsequently confirmed that a shooting victim had been dropped off at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private motor vehicle and he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The victim had a gunshot wound to the head.

Starcom sources indicate the deceased is a 34-year-old resident of Small Land, Black Rock.
