Health Minister Dr. Jerome Walcott is concerned about what he calls the alarming rate of cancer and non-communicable diseases terming it a crisis and urges the public to pay careful attention to their health.

He was speaking as Sagicor launched a health screening program, “Sagicor Cares”, a major national initiative to assist in the battle against NCDs.

Dr. Walcott notes the toll that cancers and illnesses like diabetes and heart disease are taking on this country.
