Delta boosting airlift into B’dos

Delta Airlines is increasing flights into Barbados next year.

A news release from Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated announces the expanded service from Delta Air Lines during the 2025 summer season.

The release says that commencing May 7th, 2025, and running through September 7th, 2025, Delta will offer daily non-stop flights from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Grantley Adams International Airport.

Barbados’ Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Ian Gooding-Edghill, expressed enthusiasm regarding this announcement, saying it represents yet another vote of confidence in Barbados as a destination at a time when network planning for 2025 is at an advanced stage.

He added that tourism officials continue to see encouraging demand from the U.S. market, and this additional capacity reinforces Barbados’ appeal as a travel destination, fueling optimism for sustained growth throughout Summer 2025.

According to the BTMI news release, the increased service will provide over 19 thousand additional seats, improving connectivity for travellers from major secondary markets within Delta’s extensive network.
