The Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society, James Paul, insists that there is no chicken shortage contrary to some social media reports.

His statement comes in response to public concerns after a fast-food chain announced its temporary closure of two branches due to a lack of chicken.

Mr. Paul says some of the reported issues stem from reliance on a single supplier, rather than a chicken shortage.
