A home has been destroyed and another damaged in a fire at Checker Hall, St. Lucy that started just before noon today.
The fire service reported a home was fully engulfed in flames while a nearby property suffered slight damage.
Fire Service Divisional Officer, Tramelle Perch, says the call came in at about fifteen minutes before noon and they responded with tenders from two fire stations.
The Fire Service responded with tenders from the Arch Hall and Bridgetown Stations.
