Fixing water discoloration “a work in progress”, says St. Lucy MP

Member of Parliament for St. Lucy, Peter Phillips, says work is ongoing to correct the water discoloration problem affect some areas of the parish and condemns as irresponsible what he says is St. Lucy residents being advised to not pay their water bills.

Mr. Phillips was speaking to moderator Jamal Slocombe on VOB’s Down to Brasstacks call-in program where he insisted that the discoloration was not across the entire parish but limited to certain areas.

He also believes it’s irresponsible to advise people against paying their water bills.
