Alarm over knife incident at primary school

The authorities are investigating an incident where a primary school student allegedly pulled a knife on another boy this morning.

The incident reportedly happened just before the start of classes, at the St. Catherine Primary School in St. Philip.

Sources familiar with the incident tell Starcom Network News there appeared to be some dispute between two class four boys and one is said to have pulled a knife on the other.

The teaching staff was alerted and a teacher reportedly recovered the knife from the student’s bag.

As word of the incident spread, several parents arrived at the school and took their children back home.

Meanwhile, teachers at the school are said to be very concerned over the incident.

However, classes at the school continued.
