A number of parents and Member of Parliament for the area, Davidson Ishmael, have strongly voiced their dissatisfaction over the lack of readiness of the Eden Lodge Primary School for the resumption of classes this morning.
Although some classes were being held, some of the teachers and students returned home.
Parents also came back to the school to collect their children and complained about the state of the school plant due to incomplete repair work.
Mr. Ishmael, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the MP for St. Michael North outlined his several areas of concern.
He appeared visibly frustrated.

Meanwhile, Chief Education Officer Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw said that the Director of the Education Technical Management Unit had said the school was ready for reopening but following the complaints she asked for the matter to be investigated.
