No need to panic, says BAMP

The Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners, BAMP, stresses that there are currently no cases of Monkey Pox in Barbados and says there’s no need for panic.

However, BAMP’s President Dr. Lynda Williams urges the public to stay alert and monitor official sources.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Health disclosed that there have been two m-pox cases in Barbados this year but, like BAMP, noted that there are currently no known active cases.

Dr. Williams re-emphasizes that point.
