A 16-year-old has been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Takori Wilkinson who was shot in the face at Meadow Road, St. Michael last Tuesday night.
The accused teenager is Kimani Straker of Martins Road, Pinelands, St. Michael.
Takori, who lived at Princess Royal Avenue, Pine, St. Michael was liming with friends at the Wildey Pavilion when an assailant shot him at point blank range.
He had been hospitalized on life support with a bullet lodged in his brain and died a week after the shooting.
The 16-year-old alleged shooter was scheduled to appear at the District A Court today.
Several other teenagers have reportedly been questioned in relation to the fatal shooting.
