A man has been transported to the hospital after being stabbed in an altercation in Bridgetown today.

The incident happened sometime after 1 p.m. outside the Granville Williams Bus Terminal at Fairchild Street.

When Starcom Network visited the location, a QEH ambulance was at the scene, and the victim was being tended to by paramedics.

There was a blood stain on the sidewalk outside the bus terminal near the traffic lights at the junction of Fairchild and Bridge Streets.

A vendor who witnessed the incident said it started over a phone and described the stabbing as senseless.
