A 47-year-old man drowned at a St. Michael beach early this morning.
Xavier Blanch of Padmore Village, St. Philip is said to have gone to the beach near the Radison Hotel in the company of his 22-year-old son and got into difficulties while swimming.
About 5:44 a.m. he was pulled from the water by another person who was at the beach.
The son identified his father’s body.
