A 20 year old Christ Church man is this country’s latest shooting victim – homicide number 30 for the year so far.
The deceased has been identified as Darian Ward of Silver Sands.
The police say that at about 9: 21 PM last night, their Operations Control Room received a report via telephone call that a man had been shot in his chest and was unresponsive.
Police units responded to the area of Sea Egg Avenue, Breedy Land, Christ Church, the reported scene of the incident.
The shooting victim was transported to the hospital by a private motorcar, which was escorted by police.
Ward succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment.
