Sada into women’s 400M Olympic finals

Sada Williams has become the first female competitor from Barbados to make the finals of an Olympic track event.

Today, she qualified for the finals of the women’s 400 meters at the Olympics in Paris.

Sada finished third in semi-final number three with a time of 49.89 seconds.

The first two of each semi-final were automatic qualifiers but Sada made it into the finals with one of the fastest times outside of the automatic qualifiers.
