The Ministry of Education has expressed concern over viral videos which show students of a primary school engaging in what has been described as “grossly inappropriate behavior” on their last day of school.
In a statement, the Ministry said they have reached out to the principal of the school who said that the matter is already being addressed.
The Ministry said a meeting will be held tomorrow with the principal of the school, the senior teacher and the students’ teacher to obtain a report on the circumstances behind the occurrence.
The principal is to meet with the parents of the students on Tuesday.
Chief Education Officer, Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw, urges parents to be vigilant and engaged with their children to promote good behavior and high standards.
