Former block leader, Winston “Iston Bull” Branch, who helped broker a truce among urban gangs, believes that pack is still in effect and that government’s peace initiatives are working.

But, he says a whole of country approach is required.

Mr. Branch believes some of the murders are the result of petty disputes that could have been resolved differently.

He also appeals to the business sector to support the government initiatives to fight crime as those projects require funding.
