19 year old charged with murder

The police have charged 19 year old Thierry Lynch of Walkes Spring, Saint Thomas, with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in the city on May 6th.

Lynch is accused of killing Sajeev Nurse who was stabbed at Hardwood Alley in Bridgetown and ran to River Road, where he collapsed and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Lynch appeared before Magistrate Angela Knight at the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court today and has been remanded to Dodds Prison.

He is scheduled to reappear on Monday 1st July.
