Prime Minister Mia Mottley has announced government’s intention to set up cooling and hydrating stations across the country to provide relief for the public from the high temperatures.
Miss Mottley was responding to a comment by a St. John resident at the latest Parish Speaks government town hall meeting.
The resident voiced concern about the extreme heat.
Miss Mottley noted the global rise in temperatures and said the initiative aims to provide a respite for Barbadians.
