Veteran photographer Charles Grant dies.

Former Nation Newspaper photographer, Charles Grant, has died.

The veteran photographer, who was ailing, passed away at around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Urgent Care clinic in St. George.

Mr. Grant covered some of the most high-profile news assignments for the Nation Newspaper for many years.

His former workmate of over 30 years, Tim Slinger, describes Mr. Grant as a man who understood the essence of journalism.
