The Barbados Fire Service is issuing a warning to the public about the serious implications of making hoax calls.
Acting Fire Chief, Henderson Patrick says they received a call early this morning that a man had fallen into a well at Grape Hall, St. Lucy.
The police and fire service responded, but on arrival, found no evidence to corroborate the report.
Mr. Patrick says hoax calls are concerning, as these wasted resources could be allocated to actual incidents.
