The Barbados-based Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) has denied reports on social media that an examination paper has been leaked.

A CXC statement says the agency has been made aware of information being circulated on social media about the alleged leak.

It added that the council wishes to advise candidates that this is a hoax.

CXC criticized what it called attempts by people to spread false information and create panic for candidates preparing for examinations.
