The Cuthbert Moore Primary School is closed today due to environmental issues.

A statement from the Ministry of Education says investigations are underway to uncover the location and source of a pungent odor that is affecting the comfort of those at the school.

The statement adds that it has therefore been determined that the school will remain closed today so investigations can continue.

Students in Class 4 preparing for next Tuesday’s Barbados Secondary School Entrance Examination will continue their preparations online.

The Ministry says it is expected that school will reopen next week for regular classes.
